Anamelech
An obscure demon, the bearer of ill news. In ancient times
he was worshiped at Sepharvaün, a town of the Assyrians. He
always revealed himself in the figure of a quail. His name, it is
said, signified a good king, and some authorities declare that
this demon was the Moon, as Andramelech is the Sun.
