Bolton, Gambier (d. 1929)
British author and lecturer on natural history who also investigated
various aspects of psychical phenomena. He was educated
at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He published a
large series of animal photographs that he took while traveling
in Europe, America, Canada, the Hawaiian Islands, Japan,
China, Java, the Malay Peninsula, Burma, India, and South Africa.
He accompanied the duke of Newcastle on his world tour
189394. Bolton died July 29, 1929.
