Booth, Gotthard (1899– )
Born May 26, 1899, in Nuremberg, Germany, Booth became
a psychiatrist and moved to New York in 1935 to assume
duties as a consultant at the General Theological Seminary,
New York, and adviser to the Program in Psychiatry and Religion
at Union Theological Seminary, New York. In the field of
parapsychology he took a special interest in spontaneous psi
phenomena occurring in psychotherapy, spiritual healing, and
psi phenomena in climbing plants, on which he published numerous
articles.
