Charing Cross Spirit Circle
The first Spiritualist organization in London, established in
January 1857. It was later superseded by the London Spiritualist
Union, but difficulties arose centering on the activities of a
medium named Jones, whose followers broke away to form a
new group, the Circle of Spheral Harmony
