Friends of Astrology
The oldest astrological organization currently operating in
the Chicago area. It was founded in 1938 with Mary Adams as
its first president, and it was incorporated two years later. It
functions to raise the standards of astrology and to educate students
of astrology. It provides a gathering place where serious
students of the subject can continue their learning and improve
their competence. It currently operates through several
branches in Chicago and its suburbs and publishes a monthly
newsletter, Friends of Astrology Bulletin. Address 514 N. Richmond
