Guillaume de Carpentras (ca. 15th century)
An astrologer who made for King René of Sicily and for the
duke of Milan astrological spheres from which horoscopes were
drawn. He made one for Charles VIII of France at a price of
twelve hundred crowns. The sphere contained many parts and
was designed so that all the movements of the planets, at any
hour of the day or night, could be observed within it.
