International Congress of Psychical
Research
Occasional gathering of psychical researchers from all over
the world. The first congress was held in Copenhagen in 1921,
the second in 1923 in Warsaw, the third in 1927 in Paris, and
the fourth in 1930 in Athens. World War II interrupted such international
congresses, but in 1953 the first of a new series of
international conferences on parapsychological studies was
held at Utrecht University, Holland, sponsored by the Parapsychology
Foundation.
