International Fortean Organization (INFO)
An organization founded in 1965 by Ronald J. Willis, with
a membership of scientists, scholars, and laymen concerned
with new and unusual scientific discoveries, philosophical problems
pertaining to the criteria of scientific validity, and theories
of knowledge. The organization is named after Charles Hoy
Fort (1874–1932), who researched and cataloged unusual and
unexplained phenomena. INFO maintains a library of approximately
5,000 volumes in the physical, biological, and psychological
sciences, and publishes a triannual journal INFO. Address
