Lucidity
A faculty by which paranormal knowledge may be obtained.
It is a collective term for the phenomena of clairvoyance,
clairaudience, psychometry, and premonitions. It was first
used by experimenters describing the condition of senses in relation
to the phenomena of animal magnetism and mesmerism
but was later used by French psychical researchers. It has
generally been replaced in recent decades by ESP, or extrasensory
perception.
