Mott, George Edward (1935– )
Naval officer who has also experimented in the field of parapsychology.
He was born on December 3, 1935, at Virginia
Beach, Virginia. He studied at Duke University (B.S., electrical
engineering, 1958) and joined the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant
following his graduation. While at Duke University he assisted
W. C. Stewart and J. E. Jenkins in developing and testing devices
to investigate extrasensory perception. He is an associate
member of the Parapsychological Association.
