According to Theosophy, these are obstacles that the traveler
along the Path must surmount. There are ten of them
(1) Belief in the Ego as unchangeable.
(2) Lack of faith in higher effort.
(3) Reliance on ritual.
(4) Lust.
(5) Ill-will.
(6) Love of the world.
(7) Egotistic longing for a future life.
(8) Pride.
(9) Self-righteousness.
(10) Nescience.
