Steen, Douglas (1925– )
Researcher in finance, weather, astropsychology, and parapsychology.
Steen was born on July 22, 1925, in Los Angeles,
California and studied at the University of California at Los Angeles
(M.A., 1951). He served in the United States Navy and as
a mathematical physicist on guided missiles for the Northrop
Air Corp. (1951–54). In 1954 he became a freelance researcher.
He assisted at the Parapsychology Laboratory at Duke University
in adapting four sports to dice-throwing for laboratory
research in psychokinesis.
