Zeitschrift für Parapsichologie
A monthly German periodical of psychical research, originally
founded by Alexander Aksakof in 1874 under the title
Psychische Studien. The new title was assumed in 1925 and continued
through 1934. Aksakof had originally hoped to publish
a Spiritualist journal in his native tongue of Russian, but was
prevented by the power of the Orthodox Church. His journal
was issued in German from Leipzig.
